Brett Brown, president of the Naples Area Board of Realtors, said the pricing for beachfront lots in Naples has strengthened this year. Selling prices are close to where they were at the peak of the market in 2005.
A check of the Naples area Multiple Listing Service shows four waterfront lots have sold this year for more than $6 million, he said.
The most expensive lot went for $11 million. At 777 Gulf Shore Boulevard, it closed in July. In April, a lot at 76 13th Ave. S. sold for $6,150,000. Another one at 3690 Gordon Drive went for $6,275,000 earlier this year, Brown said.
“I think the story here is more than anything we’ve had four very strong sales of lots,” Brown said. “In the high-end of the market, we are not seeing that must sell, desperation market.”
